The other day, two boys trespassed my girlfriend's property and entered her family's backyard. Today, they broke her mother's car window. I keep hearing stories of younger teens and children vandalizing people's properties more frequently now. Why is this world filled with people who are just ignorant, foul, violent, and straight up disrespectful of other people and their property? As I grow older, I see what these children are becoming and a world they have to be raised into and it saddens me. I become so frustrated to the point where I just want to not be a part of this terrible place. Respect creates peace. Disrespect creates chaos.
How can we promote positive changes in this world? One of the answers is very simple. Just respect each other and please be understanding of others. You don't know everyone and you never will. So what gives you the right to judge someone by the way they look, smell, or speak? Let us change this world one day at a time by just simply smiling at someone who looks like they had a bad day. There is no need for negative words when speaking to others especially if you do not know who they are. We must as young people create a difference in this world. So please respect each other and I am sure your life will begin to positively change. By respecting one another, we will promote a safer, happier, and respectful place to live and grow in. ~Brandon N.
